Reasonable dividend policy is not only conducive to the listed company to establish a good corporate image, but also to stimulate investors to continue to invest in the company's enthusiasm, so that the company has long-term, stable development conditions and opportunities. Therefore, the study of dividend policy has important practical significance.This paper first introduces the basic theory of dividend policy, including the concept, basic theory and type of dividend policy. Secondly, it analyzes the current situation and existing problems of dividend policy of listed companies in China, such as low dividend payout ratio, lack of continuity and stability of dividend policy, diversification of dividend distribution form, mismatch between dividend policy and company life cycle and so on. Again, from the ownership structure, the profitability of listed companies, laws and regulations and capital markets in four aspects of the listed companies in China dividend policy problems.
